Our qualified technical specialists provide expert support with product selection, specification and detailed anchor calculations, including using our in-house DesignFiX software. As CFA and UKAS-compliant professionals, we also carry out on-site and off-site anchor pull testing, including proof load and allowable load resistance testing, as well as delivering toolbox talks and installation guidance.

Technical Support
Our technical support team provides expert anchor guidance across a wide range of applications, helping you select the right solution for your project. We carry out detailed anchor calculations using DesignFix software, with all recommendations complying with BS8539 and Eurocode design standards. By getting involved at the early design stage, we can help optimise both cost and performance, identifying efficiencies before decisions become difficult or expensive to change.
Testing & Validation
Our UKAS accredited laboratory offers testing for both concrete and masonry substrates, giving you independently verified results you can rely on. We carry out pull testing and proof loading up to 600kN, with full performance verification and detailed reporting to support your project records. This service is particularly valuable for safety-critical applications, where demonstrating the integrity of fixings is essential for compliance, peace of mind, and the long-term performance of the installation.
Training & on-site support
We deliver practical anchor installation training and toolbox talks to help your team work safely and confidently on every project. Our CFA approved on-site testing is carried out to BS 8539:2012+A1:2021, with capacity of up to 600kN, and UKAS testing can be provided either on-site or off-site to suit your project requirements. We also offer PAT and gas tool training, along with CPD seminars that are designed to keep your team up to date with current industry best practice.

CPD Seminars
We provide CPD seminars on- and off-site, which include an introduction to BS 8539:2012+A1:2021 - code of practice for selection and installation of post-installed anchors, anchor design acc. to EN 1992-4 (Eurocode 2 part 4) and Intro to DesignFiX anchor calculation software.
Pull Tests
Our Southampton-based UKAS accredited laboratory provides comprehensive testing for construction fixings and anchor systems. Equipped to perform pull testing, proof load and allowable load resistance tests, our facility can support with bespoke testing requirements, as well as provide quality testing for VJT’s own brand product ranges.
Toolbox Talks
Our technical team delivers on-site toolbox talks to support the correct installation of construction fixings, anchors and fastening systems. These sessions provide practical guidance, improve installation quality and ensure compliance with BS 8539 and industry standards, helping reduce risk and achieve safe, reliable performance on site.
